Not only that, but a general rule is to not have electronics around medical equipment, as it can mess with things such as taking vital signs and the like. I get IV medicine frequently (vitals every 15 then 30 minutes), had surgery with 5 day hospital stay, etc. No one ever cares that I'm on my phone or listening to iPod. The surgery was January 2012, and I still get the IV medicine, but only every 6 weeks.
