It’s only 6 dates. Get someone up and coming from each city. I mean, Chicago is the home of house music, Europe perfected it and New York is its latest evolution. If chromatica is very house music inspired then find a great rising House act from those cities. It gives each show a personal feel and is in line with the sonics of the show. Though I'm going to convince myself that it's going to be St. Vincent or Kesha or Charli XCX Annie would be killer. Kesha is on tour with a Boston date so it seems unlikely she would open there, but maybe other cities. Charli just opened for Taylor so she certainly is on the radar Don't Call Me Gaga

JazzGa 14,621
Not a pop girl, that's just patronizing to Charli and Dua and all of their success to suggest that they should open A queer DJ would be perfect My fantasy opener is Grimes but in my fantasy it's more of a collaborative scifi show than an opening act My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <

I think people appreciate techno way more now, but I still think it's way too hard core for Chromatica.

Dua Lipa couldn't sell out Fenway, Metlife, etc. and neither could Charli, and therefore they are opening act material. I don't think it's insulting or patronizing at all? If anything I think it's incredibly appreciative of their talents to suggest they open for one of the best-selling singers ever (The Fame Monster just passed 1B streams on Spotify) Don't Call Me Gaga
Jack3257 757
I’m assuming Gaga will add more dates when the tour is inevitably postponed (especially in Asia, Australia, and Brazil) so here are some people I could realistically see opening for her. I’m not only looking at people who would work well with Gaga but would also want to be an opening act. 1) Zara Larsson: Another opener on the Divide Tour, who has had some international success. She has a fair amount of dancey pop music and I could see her energizing the crowd well before Gaga comes on. She is also a fan of Gaga so I can’t see how she would turn the opportunity down! 2) Anne-Marie: I saw Anne-Marie open for Ed Sheeran on the Divide Tour. I could definitely see her opening for Gaga and she has a new album coming out. Anne-Marie has sold out small venues all over the world (she’s a lot bigger internationally than in the US) so I could see her wanting to open for Gaga to gain even more exposure. 3) Ava Max: A few people have already mentioned her and I could definitely see it happening. 4) OneRepublic: This one is a bit of a stretch but Ryan Tedder is a producer on the album so I could see him bringing his own band in as an opener.
