Again, the notion that any voter is indebted to a political party, a private corporation, is beyond illogical. The question you should be asking yourself is why are you so easily giving a private corporation power for nothing in return. The same party hasn’t delivered universal healthcare in over an entire generation since it promised it to the American people. The same party that claims to stand up for women but is on the path to nominating a rapist. The same party that is complicit with republicans for multiple wars while also saying they are the anti-war party. The same party that claims to stand up for individual liberties like abortion and gay marriage but has people like Nancy Pelosi trying to continue the patriot act which is essentially allowing the government to spy on citizens all for the supposed idea of national security. You have to ask yourself why you’re willing to give these people power when they continue to vote on legislation and govern against the interests of poor, working, marginalized and minority communities across this country. Adakam 2
Finally, after he completely failed to get young people to vote, there was no point. And trump wouldve demolished him just by calling him a socialist that praised Castro, and that was more than enough ammo to destroy him so.... Hopefully progressives can come out with a candidate that doesnt make so many mistakes.

Hopefully progressives can come out with a candidate that doesnt make so many mistakes. that's what I wish, I'm hopping in the near future for more candidates like the President of El Salvador, without blind ideologies, but that puts their people first, as every candidate should, you shouldn't be progressive or conservative, liberal or socialist, you should be HUMAN and actually caring for the people's need, but not hypocritically while being friend of dictatorial regimes just because they call themselves leftists Warren was a great candidate, but America wasn't ready for her

Actually in my state of Florida, Bernie Sanders won the Cuban vote so the Castro comments didn’t hurt him with Cuban Americans. It hurt him with boomers that watch MSNBC and CNN every day. I am requesting that be addressed. It is not ok to shame someone or tell them their vote for candidate A is actually a vote for candidate B because I’m a centrist and I care about candidate C winning an election. A vote for candidate B is a candidate B and the last I checked, a democracy means that you get to vote for whoever you would like to see in a political position. The amount of abuse and bullying that comes from democrats that expect progressives to vote for more moderate candidates that continue to do nothing to compromise to the left on policy but does play the blame game when things don’t go their way is beyond reasonable. That kind of behavior is rampant in threads like this by a minority of members in the community. The moderation team would do well to recognize it for the abusive behavior that it is and that the quality of political discourse be fueled by documentation and links. Producing a source for discussion creates a higher quality debate & it also prevents unnecessary arguing that many, myself included, get into because some users tend to rely on toeing the line between acceptable and warn worthy posts that often bait others into aggressive responses. Voting is every American citizen's constitutional right and a private right for them, hence why voting booths allow for discretion. However, candidate policies, actions, or speeches are allowed to be scrutinized in political discourse. People will differ on many issues, values, or standards. At the end of the day, people need to remember to "agree to disagree" and let it go. However vilifying, gas-lighting, or hateful comments need to stop. Let us remember how to be civil, keep our level heads. There are billions of people on the planet, perhaps millions who use the internet everyday, so we're bound to encounter differences. We need to learn how to coexist one way or another. When you see abuse happen, please report it. Stand in the light, cast your shadow.

I might report you for the use of delusional as well. Also, what happened to Bolivia was a coup. That has nothing to do with socialism as it isn’t an authoritarian economic system. As for Cuba, Venezuela, both are countries we have deployed economic sanctions on, used our military to try to usher regime change and has nothing to do with the success of their economies. The fact remains the US had overthrown many Latin American governments and oppressed the people who live there with a foreign policy that both democrats and republicans are united in furthering. What you are showing, in my view, is either a lack of understanding with regard to foreign policy or a very authoritarian view on how we should interact with the world. I find both to be troubling. Its pretty simple, if republicans fill another supreme court seat, you can kiss any chance of a progressive movement in the future goodbye forever, as well as abortion and equality rights, environmental protections, etc. So if you prefer risking all that just to "teach a lesson to the DNC" or something like that, then you didnt follow Bernie for his policies, or his beliefs or because you truly want a progressive movement, as you would know just like he knows, that trump winning would be the death of the progressive movement. So take a pick, will you vote for Biden or for a republican supreme court?
