I was actually watching this on TV and it's interesting that the video cut out the rest of the conversation. I'm not a big fan of CNN either, but that video fails to share the part where the panel was sharing how they think it was Bernie's strategy not to automatically extend an olive branch to Biden because that wouldn't be helpful in trying to unite the party together. A reminder not to take everything at face value on the internet. And again, that doesn’t change the fact that the purpose of the discussion is to plant the seed that it’s all Bernie and his supporters fault than for Biden to accept accountability that his platform and agenda didn’t do enough to win over voters and get them to vote in November. We've seen how media portrayal can **** things up. But I also believe in being fair. I just felt the need to acknowledge how misleading that clip was - especially because it wasn't directly related to what we were talking about prior. that's all, good sir. I agree that the anti trump argument may work better this time but the pro trump energy is much more organized and focused than ever so I think it’s a mistake to bank on anti trump to win. You have to give people something to vote for rather than just being against other things. It’s the same reason Pete, Amy and many others dropped out and Bernie and Biden stayed in. To me that's the most frustrating thing with politics and too many ppl make a useful exchange impossible Ppl make politics too black and white and either agree or disagree with u. They either support someone or they don't A truly open minded and not stubborn person should still be able to see valid points with someone they don't agree with... A non-biased person should also be able to criticize or disagree with specific things with someone they agree with or a politician they support Politics, economics involve too many fluid issues to be 100% black and white on everything all the time

No offense but this was kind of a stupid comment lol Trump is the antithesis of what Bernie supporters want, why in the hell would they vote for the opposite of what they want? Can’t believe we are stuck with a mediocre candidate. Joe Biden is not a good candidate. He will not be progressive. Shameful. Loooool hardly. 45% of people think trump is doing a good job. That’s roughly where his numbers were before.

I personally can't wide for Donald to sweep the polls No. White women, a handful of independents, and misogyny did. It’s not like people were rah rah for HRC before Bernie anyway. People had basically assumed she’d be the president, Hillary included, and that’s a dangerous game to play. Let’s also just look at what lost her 2016; it was Trump’s strategy which, frankly, was better devised going after delegate-rich areas that had been overlooked. Ridiculous as it was, it was only a good campaign because Hillary didn’t visit those places as well and thought she’d coast to the presidency. There’s *a lot* of factors that went into her 2016 loss and it’s totally naive to place sole blame on the few people who stayed home because Bernie wasn’t the nom. It wasn’t like a mass movement and what’s more don’t blame people for not voting when it should be the candidate’s job to court votes. If they can’t do that then they’re in the wrong line of work (that’s not to say I think Hillary is a bad politician; she’s a great civil servant and incredibly competent, but she is plainly not very good at being publicly-facing as being president requires).
