exactly, you both get it.
Even though the overall looks are so great, they don't really shine because of the photographs, which is a pity.
Some photos look like unfinished products, I even recognize those colors, shades and structures in some of the photos that are typical for out of the camera files, before u move them to your editing program. 
Some pics look like the photographer took them and then called it a day.

literally depth of field, a pink cloth bg and an angular lens could have added so much to it

i read the full interview and I love that she's found her new purpose in life now she has experienced the highest and lowest points of her career thus far, she realises she has nothing to prove and she wants to have a family and be a philanthropist.

Chromatica might very well be a love letter to the fans since the beginning, Nicola says later in the interview that he's reviving her old edgy and sexy style with a punk twist and the music is dance music and reminiscent of her early Electropop music with a modern twist. 
I definitely feel like this may be our last album for a long time and i'd be ok with that tbh.

Especially given that the visuals for the album so far have been so futuristic/cyborg-esque - this shoot just looks off (apart from the looks, those are stun).

There is still enough mention of the album in the interview to know it is coming sooner than later.  They could’ve erased a lot more about the album than they may have and they had enough time to add the first paragraphs about the virus and delay afterall.
