I'm not talking about aesthetic, you can do this aesthetic and still execute it perfectly, like any other aesthetic. This specific shoot doesn't seem to do it because of the editing.

For the focus, I'd have to see bigger files.

i understand you your point of view. but i dont get whats wrong with the editing. the skin retouch is soft and nice, the clothes retouch is super smooth too, the preset is almost none... is that it that you saying?

I love that pink ruffly dress!

She looks amazing, and that interview is so good. I'm even more excited for the album now, whenever we get it. I don't mind the delay, because I'm thinking of it as extended Gaga era. We get philanthropist Gaga plus Chromatica Gaga.

Look at the skin retouch of this one:

And especially this picture, the subject itself should have probably been edited lighter (especially her face) and make the colors pop more (which can still be done keeping the natural aesthetic and not making it (too) high fashion shoot, which they probably didn't want to go for).

If I'm not mistaken, the focus is also sliiiightly off (I'd have to see a bigger picture, but it seems more apparent in other photos), which is something that should not happen for a professional photographer.

In these pictures for example everything is a lot better :)

not Chromatica

The art direction of this shoot is a bit of a choice, not gonna lie... Oh well! You win some, you lose some.

Sadly, professional photographers/editors still make mistakes sometimes.

It can be an endless discussion, but you don't have to necessarily have the same level of knowledge about something to see where something could have been better.

An extreme comparison, but I don't have to know how to build a house to eg. see that the walls are not straight. Nor do I have to be a singer to hear when there's a false note.

the first example for me represents exactly what i was saying: the light is more natural (probably when the took that photo, there was almost no sunlight/covered by cloud/butterfly). and for what you say colours/subject being lighter, but i think that they wanted it that way... i cant judge the focus on a picture this size.

and i agree with you about the other two being better. they have more sunlight and the first one was probably took with a reflector as u can see the reflection of light on the back of the hat. the second one for me is just amazing.

Somehow no matter how amazing this photoshoot is you all found a way to trash it... it's really sad

I've got an "F" and a "C" and I got a "K" too And the only thing that is missing is a bitch like "U"
