One such example is mHealth (mobile health) where you could theoretically have an app that tracks your vitals, body temp, etc, and could identify abnormalities indicating you are sick before you have noticeable symptoms. There are also a ton of people making apps for hospitals that can predict disease trajectories or make it easier for doctors to track their patients labs, not to mention all of the people doing AI. I think it's super interesting, but I'm biased because I do this type of research. You aren't stupid for asking at all. This is a super niche field. Thank you guys so much! I had no idea about this, it sounds so interesting I’m honestly mind blown cuz I had never really thought about the connection between high tech and medical research and the medical field in general @anuanu you got my respect for doing this kinda stuff! Any time! Seriously I love talking about it. Though I'm sure this has to do with IBM's donation, it doesn't surprise me at all that Gaga is getting involved in this stuff. The intersection of tech and personalized medicine is the cutting edge of medical research right now and is very popular among investors (ahem, Sean Parker) and the ultra-wealthy. Coupled with the fact that she has been outspoken about health and seems interested in research, if even from a personal standpoint, I wouldn't be surprised if she is already involved with other things like this. brooklynights 66
its so cool she's actually genuinely helping out and reaching out to others who can help as well during this time, while some other celebrities/big name people are barely doing anything. it shows we all stanned the right person in the beginning

Borislshere 53,080
The thing I love the most about Gaga rn is that she didn’t just postpone the album and disappear back into her house, she turned her downtime into something productive to help literally save the world.
