Imo its a bit hypocritical of her :billie:  she was calling out people like Kylie Jenner who get work done to themselves, and because she has some money now she has just gone and done the exact same thing

She looks totally different, like completely unrecognisable.

Be kind :billie:

oh so I wasn't the only one who thought it came off that way? hmmm...

Again, my mistake. I didn't mean to say that. I just researched it and I can confirm being blonde is a very Caucasian trait. So I stand corrected. I was trying to give a contrast, I honestly wasn't trying to say black women can't have blonde hair...

I understand. I only snapped at you because I thought that's what you meant. I'll let it go and not be petty. I apologize.

I just wanted to clear something out of the air that a lot of people don’t get and I don’t either at one point, this hairstyle is not biased towards being just a “black hairstyle” these are braids not locs, the subject is kind of touchy but people seriously take stuff too far and it’s usually people in the white community who want to actually drag someone down.

I'm assuming you aren't part of the black community?

These dummies talking about extremes when they cannot recognize any other form of racism other than straight up saying the N word :billie:

"Racism is so bad :(" skdsdj crying :billie:

So you agree it's okay for black people to empower the N word, certain rappers to plaster it in every song and invite white girls on stage and humiliate them when they sing the sing that contains the word? Nahhhhhh, that ain't right. I can recognise forms of racism, sis. My Chinese friend got spat right in her face last month in Cambridge, right in front of me, by a fat greasy white guy who then shouted "CORONA TRAMP!" We both experienced that together, and I was there for her.😔

If this silly comment was referred to me, I think you best review some of my other comments + understand I actually hate the word and don't condone its normalisation or usage in 2020 society. Do a little more reading before twisting people's perspectives or intentions. That comment of yours is deceiving as fuuuu- and incredibly dismissive

Ugh first off you apparently don’t understand the difference between weave, braids, or locs.      Locs are actually apart of African American culture.    That is cultural appropriation which the others don’t fall under. The area in which I live in has a very culturally strong abundance of a black community, I’ve been explained on this topic numerous times. You need to stop dragging others down.   And educate yourself.   Not pitter patter around twitter and get your information from a gay uncultured twink with a keyboard problem.

That link means nothing to me because I understand what reappropriation is, and I don't like it. It causes social problems and it stops equality progression. Again, the word should be left the past. You do not invite fans on stage (ones who pay money to see you and give you a luxury lifestyle), ask them to sing your song with a derogatory word, and then hound them. It ain't right, it shouldn't happen either way, whether you're white or black. It's disgusting, and so is the word.

I think locs are different though I don’t believe in appropriation but whites people have no reason to wear locs, but wigs and braids and weaves are a her style period. Which is for everyone to express creatively

hmmm. I don't like the picking and choosing. my little sister got dreadlocks in Egypt last year and I don't see how what she did was ignorant or culturally appropriating. She's 6 and she thought she looked beautiful when she looked in the mirror. She also knew ethnics normally have that hairdo. I don't see how that could ever be a bad thing. That's embracing a culture, and I think it's something to be enjoyed, but for some reason, it has become a defence mechanism for many around the world. Cultural appropriation, in my personal opinion (educate me fairly if If you disagree), is a load of bullshit to maintain division and hold on to an socio-inhibitory type of pride. Why can't people just embrace each other's culture? If I see a black woman strut down the street with a platinum blond straight wig, it would be racist of me to assume that she has no reason to wear that, or the denim Levi's jacket she's wearing? But if a white guy goes to Coachella and wears a dashiki top, it's wrong? Double standards has no place, sorry.

What kind of drugs are you on? Every people on this planet can wear anything. Doesn't matter what is your race. I thought this was the world we were going to.
But I see that this is not true, we just reverse racism

Does a tan, lip injections, blue contact lenses and a nose job makes you black?

She looks more Italian now than before IMO.

THANK YOU!

Honestly, I'm not a fan of cultural appropriation. But you still have that one ethnic dude who wears Western clothing brands and absorbs Western culture, yet he gets triggered  at some white chick with cornrows + wearing dashiki. And the gag is, he was most likely born in a Western country???  I thought the world got past racism, slavery and xenophobia years ago, but we are stalling/plateauing + have been for the past few years. Not enough is being done to address complex issues like this, and double standards confuse it all.
