List: Why We Love Lady Gaga The Way We Do

This was more of a spur-of-the-moment idea, but after reading about her work with the WHO, it makes complete sense. 

It's simple: Why do you love Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta?

Why is she special to you? If someone were to ask you this, what would you say?

Why not make an everlasting list of reasons to love this woman? Exactly. Write a sweet message of something she's done that makes her an amazing person, and worthy of respect, love, and kindness, and we'll see how long the list can get. I'll start:

She could've given up on herself YEARS ago.

I mean, I think we all know of the things she's been through - her hip injury, depression, etc. She could've simply stopped performing, but she didn't. She could've stopped writing music, but she didn't. NOTHING can hold this woman back. I've never been so proud to look up to someone as much as I look up to her - someone kind, caring, strong, and passionate about what she does. Not only as an artist, but as a human being.

I admire her passion and never giving up no matter what obstacles. ARTPOP era really shown how strong she is both mentally and physically. Because she could’ve been the next Britney 2007.

We all rant about her music and chart performance but she really is here for the music and deep down that is what makes us love her for rest of our life. She has saved and changed millions of life. And most importantly, she helped millions of LGBT individuals to accept who we are when the rest of the world pointed out that we have a problem.

Overall she is a hell of a force. Never backs down and fights for all the right things. #kindnesspunk

she feels human. she's backtracked so much, learned a lot, improved over the years in every sense, evolved -not just "polished" herself, she went up & down and i saw her do so-. it feels like she's a big sister i've had the pleasure to grow up with.

in the art sense, even when i feel disappointed because i might had a different vision or expectation for things -completely my own fault-, she always surprises me and she's willing to take risks. i value her for that a lot. 

i obviously don't agree in a lot of things with her but i feel like we share the same values overall in life, which is very important to me.

Why? She is simply the greatest person out there. You can try, but no other artist you name will EVER come close to Lady Gaga.

Here is my list;

- A VOCAList

- She is incredibly smart and the way she sees music is so amazing

- Her catalogue of music is exceptional, of course there are songs that aren't as good but the quality? You just don't find that anywhere else

- she's not just a vocalist or a songwriter... she is involved with EVERY detail that goes into her artistry. From producing, to conducting an orchestra, to telling other producers how things should sound and what the lyrics are... EVERYTHING 

- She's articulate and wants everything to be perfect, she will not stop until she does what she set out to achieve 

-  Her drive and passion and the way she is so brave and strong to stand up for what she believes is right is astonishing

-  She has the biggest heart of gold, incredibly kind and just wants to spread love, kindness and joy to the world, EVEN when the days get tough for herself 

- She wants to help the world. People berate celebrities doing sh*t like "what can they do?" but Lady Gaga proves time and time again that if you are a celebrity, a huge name, you can do SO MUCH GOOD to the world other than just donating money. If anything, this WHO x Gaga event should be a slap in the face and a wake up call to not only some of you guys/GP, but to other celebrities too. The fact that SHE is in direct communication with the biggest health organisation (s) in the world and the fact she helped organise this event for everyone tells you that this woman STAYS TRUE TO HER WORD, puts herself out there and genuinely is going to be helping SO MANY people globally by her kind/brave actions. She will be hugging planet earth and giving us all a chance to relax and enjoy something positive in a world full of chaos during this pandemic.

When I came out as trans a lot of people were cruel to me. It hurt a lot but Gaga made it easier. I still get through a lot of days because of Gaga. She has been my lighthouse through every storm. I want to type more but my body aches are terrible today.

Because of her artistry, her kindness, her talent, the way she makes the music she wants to make instead of following trends, because she uses her influence to spread love and respect, because she can be human and ethereal at the same time, because she doesn't give a **** about what the people say, because she isn't problematic, because she is strong and a fighter, because thanks to her I know more about fashion, music and art, because I made friends thanks to her and because I love her music.

She genuinely cares. She comes from a perpetual place of love for others AND she has the talent to back it up. I just know I will never be disappointed in her (except for ARTPOP but I still like her 'flops')
