Blue states tend to have the highest population density so they're hit the hardest. They also contribute the most to the GDP(California by itself has a higher gdp than many developed countries), a world where they're kept down is a world where the economy doesn't recover. Most states have called for their own stay at home orders. I think the federal government doesn't want to get involved because they don't want to be directly blamed for tanking the economy. It's a lesson that human should learn from. But the good news is that China and SK are having control while Italy is turning stable. US will get to that point sooner if the government takes stronger force, and some strategies are working right now. So...stay home and hope for a better future.
