The icons are for the tribes and for Chromatica as the fictional world that the tribes live in, but it doesn't necessarily mean that each tribe will get a specific song (although it would be a cool idea, kinda like an anthem for each tribe).

As for the covers, I used to like the grungy texture on the symbol in the leaked one but now I can't unsee the inflatable and the symbol does look more distinguishable in the final one, which is for the best. If it was real life, the scene would actually depict Gaga being crushed by a HUGE solid metal piece, but maybe that's the concept? idk lol

What I find quite ironic is that while making the logo stand out more, they also dulled gaga herself on the final version. Sure, the logo in the "demo" is less visible, but at the same time gaga stands out more, she's the first thing to notice and then the chromatica logo emerges. I think that the darker version is better, way more engaging and actually more of a performance as a piece of art. 

Also the final version just looks very amateur compared to demo. But oh well, what can one do.

Or maybe it's backwards; the "tribes" are symbolic of the songs. I'm assuming, from the visuals, the album cover isn't related to any specific song's "story-line" (such as the tribes featured in the Stupid Love M/V), and is just meta to the album itself (which would suggest each icon relates to a song), but just my guess.

The tribe symbols are way more legible in this one...the other 2 symbols are the spirtuals and the Chromatica symbol

I found this version on sharemania . It's the official image but the contrast is different and Gaga's not full
