Some people complain that the cover is too “busy” but that is because they are used to the standard pop album covers were the artists simply have a good looking shot of themselves. Most rock/metal covers contain a lot of visuals and imagery that represents the album. And this is exactly what Gaga is trying to do. The cover feels very cyberpunk, futuristic, and unique. It also feels like Gaga is telling is story and has a general theme for the album. And the Chromatica symbol being embedded within the scene is the cherry on top.
