It's just in regards to the publications ranking, I personally didn't agree based upon my own tastes and opinion of the song. That was all. It's bascially calling out Lady Gaga haters of which she has many, (and they tend to hate on Stupid Love) on Gagadaily, a Lady Gaga fansite. It's like being at a Bernie rally after he's delivered a powerful speech (pre-plague) and saying "Universal healthcare haters lost!" It's not that deep, lol. SL is a good song, I bop to it whenever I hear it on the radio and I do think it is single quality. But compared to Dua and The Weeknd's work, it feels more calculated and structured to me; whereas the ladder sounds more natural with superior production. This is my main concern with Chromatica so far (esp after hearing the Babylon leaks) that the song productions are going to lack emotion/depth and are going to feel one-dimensional in structure. I adore both FN and AH and some of their song I enjoy more than SL as well but whenever some people/publication/critics shower praise to SL, I make sure to celebrate too. I mean, you don't have to agree with them but there's no need to be snarky about SL! FN and AH have received greater acclaims out there.
