This for instance is a Jeff Koons: Some have said it‘s her merged with the statue . I get why she would do it, the real one doesn’t look like her. My intention wasn’t to imply she was putting things where they didn’t belong, but that the mix of high art, tacky collage, and pomposity was the point of the cover as it’s the style that her and Jeff Koons usually go for. The ARTPOP cover is Gaga taken to the extreme and that’s what makes it so good. And the C2C cover looks like one of those pictures with bad HDR, sorry . The clear visual obscurity reflects very well in the songs, as Gaga said each TFM song reveals the fear of fame and if you look at the cover, you can understand what she wants to go through. Both the music and the cover have Dark themes. The cover is crazy, and yes, it is unique. Nobody in pop music at that time would do what Gaga did during TFM era It's especially effective when compared to The Fame album cover, being a kind of response to it. The way you phrased it made it seem like Gaga was the one who had the "genius" idea of juxtaposing the statue with the collage, I simply pointed out that it was actually a very Koons thing to do. It’s exactly what I want! I was hoping there wouldn’t be too much color and I was really hoping it wouldn’t resemble Stupid Love. This is AMAZING.
