A lot of Disney moves! Here's how MCU phase 4 is looking:

Black Widow (11/6/20)
Eternals (2/12/21)
Shang Chi (5/7/21)
Doctor Strange (11/5/21)
Thor 4 (2/18/22)
NEW: Captain Marvel 2 (7/8/22)

'Mulan' and Black Widow have landed July and November 2020 release dates after being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, while franchise hopeful Jungle Cruise is being pushed back a year to summer 2021

As for Fox Studios movies:

Free Guy moved to December 11 2020

Bob's Burgers moved to April 9 2021

Some delayed titles remain undated, including The Personal History of David Copperfield, Antlers, Woman in the Window and The New Mutants. New dates are expected to be announced soon.

Disney insiders stressed that because of the ongoing uncertainty, all release dates could be shifted if needed.

Artemis Fowl is the first Disney theatrical film that'll move directly to a Disney Plus debut, as opposed to a premium VOD release.

REALITY

I'm very disappointed that they decided to push back all the Marvel movies. Personally, I would've been totally okay if Disney released Black Widow on streaming, for purchase. I feel like the debate about whether or not Disney should've released BW on streaming was contingent on the fact that many people just assumed that it would go straight to Disney+. That wouldn't have been the case. It obviously would have been made to be purchased first, and then after a couple of months, Disney could put it on their streaming service.

Hopefully this doesn't really affect the release dates of the Disney+ shows.

That will never happen. Disney have a contract with movie theaters that needs to be honored. As well as a lot of share holders who wants their money back. These blockbusters movies are not gonna be put into straight to streaming. As I said on other thread.

Artemis Fowl is different issues, I guess moat of us already feel ot would a big flop anyway if it was put into cinema. So moving it straight to Disney+ was better moves for its reputation.

I don’t know a lot about motion picture distribution but is that why movie commercials on tv right now are still saying “In Theaters” for movies that will probably not ever be screened in theaters? Like is that part of the contract?
