As anyone else would, Jesse Lozano, the host of the station, dismissed the call as a prank. Someone like Britney Spears, whose fame at the time is comparable to that of Taylor Swift, would never just randomly call a station and put out a song. Sure enough, of course, the one, the only, Britney Spears shows up at the station with her dog, her bodyguard, and an unmarked CD in hand. She really wanted this song to be released, especially for its lyrics mirroring her personal life in the industry but her label didn't want to so she went behind their backs to the radio station with the song in a CD. But it'll always be a mystery... Speaking of, how's her conservatorship situation with this whole Coronavirus and lockdown? She had some jury or something this month...
