In the book sequel this is supposed to be made after, Oliver and Elliot dont reunite or anything, it's more about them finding qualities they saw in each other in other people and puts a heavy focus on the relationships of Elliot's father. I believe the ending of the first book has a 10 year jump where they reunited? The director wants to take it from there

Regina George 59,387
Also why are y'all mad? This movie is literally one of the only popular gay movies that actually represents love in a good way and no one dies. It actually represents how hard it is for gay people to love. I myself am straight and I loved how we finally got a normal gay movie without death along with Love Simon.

I meant that it's pretty popular amongst young people.. I see it on TikTok all the time and even tho it's not blockbuster.. I still think it's pretty popular
