I believe the ending of the first book has a 10 year jump where they reunited? The director wants to take it from there

Also why are y'all mad? This movie is literally one of the only popular gay movies that actually represents love in a good way and no one dies. It actually represents how hard it is for gay people to love. I myself am straight and I loved how we finally got a normal gay movie without death along with Love Simon.

It's not a mainstream movie tho, it's quite indie tbh.

You're right.. I expressed myself wrong.. I meant that it's pretty popular amongst young people.. I see it on TikTok all the time and even tho it's not blockbuster.. I still think it's pretty popular
