We already have a negative stereotype of being sex addicts who spread disease, and this situation has kind of shown me that it's actually true. I'm so disappointed and saddened. I had to delete Grindr because the bragging about still going out and f.ucking strangers was making me sick. Control yourselves. I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. I used to stand up for the gay community myself, but now I'm seeing that all the negative stereotypes are true. Gay men actually can't control their lust and it's a problem. When there's a reputable source that can showcase the problem is affecting the gay community disproportionately, I'll reconsider - till then I stand by what I said... Just because you see this happen in the gay community and nowhere else doesn't mean it's disproportionately pervasive in the gay community, you're just heavier invested in the community... Or are you on multiple websites and apps dedicated to dating in heterosexual community and you're spending as much time on those so you can compare?
