If the whole community do it, we're protecting each other. This is because 25 - 50% of patient is symptom-free so they may spread the virus without acknowledging it. Wearing a mask will prevent us from accidentally spreading the virus. Because droplets you produce while you talk or breath is contagious as well, a mask would stop that.
