But I doubt it. Now, I do expect Chromatica to get nominated for at least one category, especially now that the critics love everything she does and the Recording Academy clearly adores her as well. In this sense, "record" means a particular recorded song, not its composition or an album of songs. SOTY: The recipient of this award is the songwriter who actually wrote the lyrics and/or melodies to the song.
