She’s obviously getting nominated and winning at least one award for Chromatica but I don’t think it’ll be SL.

It’s literally April :laughga:
But well, Stupid Love doesn’t really deserve noms but then again the Grammys tend to make questionable decisions so I wouldn’t be mad if they nominated it. But I doubt it. Now, I do expect Chromatica to get nominated for at least one category, especially now that the critics love everything she does and the Recording Academy clearly adores her as well. But that’s assuming the album is coming out before the deadline :huntyga:

Well (correct me if I'm wrong), isn't ROTY only designated to producers? Or does that include writers, too?

3 points in and ready for more

She will be relegated to Pop categories, unless Grammys snub her to let her image rest for a while :poot:

The Weeknd really put out a album of the year album. I can’t stop playing it. And the visuals are great as well

ROTY: This award goes to the performing artist, the producer, recording engineer and/or mixer for that song. In this sense, "record" means a particular recorded song, not its composition or an album of songs.

SOTY: The recipient of this award is the songwriter who actually wrote the lyrics and/or melodies to the song. "Song" in this context means the song as composed, not its recording.

Stupid Love will not win 100%... I think Don't Start Now has the highest chances of winning - it is a smash hit thats actually really good, it has a strong female singing it, Dua is a rising star, and its coming from a fantastic album. All of these are things the Grammy voters love

The way you just effortlessly say it all without quotes, being agressive, shady or sarcastic.

Your mind! Keep rising icon! Blessings

This may be a stupid question but can someone tell me why there's "Record of the Year" and "Song of the Year"?
