Who are you to decide what kind of foods are ethical, just because you personally find other cultures’ ethical system on meat consumption more acceptable such as mainstream western cultures doesn’t mean other cultures have to follow the same rule.

Illegal trading of endangered and exotic animals for food or "libido enhancing medicines" is generally perceived as unethical...it's not me who is decided that. Also the living conditions of those animals and the dangers wetmarkets pose to the health of the whole world... this caused the pandemic.

And I agree with that, but I’m actually replying because I thought you are defending that dog meat comment which if the dogs are breed to be solely for meat consumption purpose then there’s shouldn’t be an issue

There’s do have problems with people actually stealing other people’s dogs tho, but that’s whole other issues

No, I'm not defending his comment, just stating that there is some truth to his comment, the post is just very unfiltered and frustrated. But personally I don't feel attacked by this comment...

But as a Chinese I feel seriously offended by that comment, and partially by yours, and you being an Asian doesn’t excuse that post from being sinophobic.

True some of the Chinese eat strange stuff, but it is a VERY small part of the population, not to mention this is not some phenomena exclusive to China. The lazy generalization itself is prejudiced and very offensive.

I am aware it's not the general population of China that eats exotic animals, and from my understanding exotic animals are mostly eaten by a small groups of elites and small local villages, but it is still part of Chinese culture. If you got the impression I was blaming Chinese people as a whole, then my apologies, that wasn't my intention.
