I remember seeing an article a few years ago about how new video games can cost close to 8000 yen over there, which is over $70 USD. Wouldn't be surprised if music also costs more. Yes, music costs more in Japan as well. A standard CD in U.S. costs about US$16, but in Japan, it may costs about US$24. So the price $90 for SUPER DLX LP has already cheaper than the original price on HMV JAPAN. If you are not the member of HMV JP, the original price for it will be 12210 Japanese dollars. L E O 6,035 Posted March 31, 2020 Share Posted March 31, 2020 The supports are almost exactly the same as Madonna's Madame X. - Regular CD - Digibook deluxe CD - Regular Vinyl - Several Colored vinyl - Several Cassettes And now: - Super Deluxe with CD + 7" + merch (Madame X had an extra cassette, but oh well) - Picture disc If they apply the same prices (they should, both are under Interscope) the super deluxe should be around 50€/55$ outside of Japan!
