For example, today people are not believing Gaga’s make up artist when she said that Gaga does not want perfect make up and think that what she said is an excuse for not having good skills. And honestly I don’t know how you don’t believe her when Gaga has always wanted to be spontaneous and imperfect with everything she does. Just look at the Stupid Love music video. Many of her fans criticize it for looking cheap when that was always the intention. The SL video was always about the energy, vibe, and vintage look of the video rather than it looking perfect. Or how about when Gaga performs, haven’t you noticed how she always focuses on the emotion and energy of the song rather than having a tight choreography? Or think about the songs where Gaga’s voice sounds raw and full emotion (Dope for example), and people complaint about how it doesn’t sound pleasant or good for pop. If you want perfect or polished pop star, than you have to look somewhere else. If you want emotion, uniqueness, chaos, and power, than Gaga is what you are looking for. Which is kinda an evolved belief since the beginning of her career when she used to say “you can be smart and in your underwear” in 2008 defending her lyricism on The Fame. i mean remember at the 2015 GRAMMYs when she allowed herself to be “perfect” and sexy and all the focus on her was how much “hotter” she suddenly was I rememberall the locals and media publications posting that comparison pic of her at the 2010 GRAMMYs vs that one and how she “glowed up” as if she didn’t have times in 2010 when she was hot as hell especially on tour or in music videos. Lady Gaga is the definition of unexpected, so to expect a certain sound or a certain theme/genre, or direction from Gaga is literally clownery 101. Unless she tells you "this era is gonna be dance" for example, then you should go into every Gaga era with a blank mind and be amazed at the journey she is taking and the ride that comes along with the new era, no matter the direction or vision she has. Its what separates her from the rest of the conventional pop stars. She doesn't follow anything, as she once said "I am whats happening". She literally stated in every interview that she's a perfectionist... but right now everything changed and tbh i believe sarah .. Maybe it's gaga's way to deal with a specific mental illness but judging from her recent work (stupid love both song and mv/ the whole enigma mess etc ) i don't see her spontaneous side had a good impact on her art .. Yes they compare her to younger pop stars from now when they forget Gaga is only 10 years off being middle aged and models herself on the popstars of decades past that she and our parents listened to. She has no interest in having a Kim K face which is all celebrities try to do now with makeup (which is why I like HausLabs because it’s not boring makeup looks) or have a Nicki Minaj inject-a-body. It’s fine to have this but this isn’t Gaga. I also find younger fans who never lived and stanned through her peak or started becoming a fan at the back end of her peak tend to crave her to return to how she was when she was 22 arriving on the scene with her legs out of a limo car in a fuchsia pink jacket.
