We should have 2-weeks-"Corona holidays" where everyone must not leave their apartments/homes ( except for pet caring), so the virus stops spreading and the health care system could fully focus on the already infected ones. The Govt have said to "turn the tide" in 3 months, others have said it could go to May. Just stop. The article says that while Michael Gove said he couldn't give an exact date, the chief medical officer (for Scotland) said that the model she saw from the UK government had plans for a lockdown for AT LEAST 13 weeks. As I said, no specific date but they will review but it looks likely it will be a lot longer than the 3 weeks initially said from Boris Johnson a week ago. The way I interpreted it was that: - review around Easter, with a minimum of a 12 week lockdown - if "the curve" shows a slow in spread, the lockdown won't be as long - if "the curve" doesn't show any slow in spread, we could be looking at a lockdown for 3 months as a minimum and 6 months as a maximum, with a review every 3 weeks End Racism Now Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
