She said many times that she had the direction in mind and that direction is to make people happy and to release amazing disco nostalgia songs with great visuals. That's it. She is not trying to send this amazing artistic message into the world. She is just enjoying herself. No one here claims she had this huge artistic rebirth BUT what I'm saying is that she is in charge now, you can tell this is what she wanted to do, you can tell she had this direction for the album and you can tell that every single choice for this album is hers. If you wanna compare Dua to Madonna, compare their transitions from first to second eras. Madonna's transition from Like a Virgin to True Blue is nothing next to this.
