Will Chromaticas Name Affect Album Perception?

Corona beer dropped in sales even more than other beers and the Chinese Grocery store when China was epicenter of Corona virus was like empty. Ppl would prefer to cram in other stores when there was a perfectly empty Oceans store just cuz they connect China with virus even tho most products and brands are the same (as if that even matters anyway) :rip:

Ppl make weird connections in their heads about coronavirus that have nothing to do with getting infected :toofunny:

Will the name "Chromatica" cause a negative impact?

I can even imagine some ppl accusing Gaga of choosing that name just to get attention without being aware that name was already chosen before and it's just a coincidence it sounds simmilar :toofunny:

I thought about this to :rip:

I think this is possible tbh. It literally sounds like a fabulous but deadly disease :billie:

Literally the only comparison is that they are both fairly long words that begin with C. :toofunny:

It shouldn't matter but ppl are weird :laughga:

I did not expect corona beer to tank just because of the name or the popular Chinese store close to my house to go empty just because it's "Chinese"

Ppl are avoiding anything that can even so much as remind u of the virus. It's rediculous but some people's reasoning literally works like that :rip:

Chromatography

The only way they're similar is they both start with C and end with A.

There's literally no connection there.

In a technical sense maybe but phychologically it does sound simmilar and remind u of it and that's what's gonna matter to ppl not whether the word is almost the same or means the same

The GP is not rational :emma:

I think what @Economy is saying (and I agree with that) that people are even on a subconscious level affected by things like this. Even if something mildly evokes a reaction that's related to COVID-19 (such as Chinese food), there might be drastic results.

The words may not be exactly the same but when I'm looking at Gaga news and I see lots of Chromatica / coronavirus in the title they do blend into one word

This

U could argue corona beer and a Chinese store has no direct connection to the virus but ppl still avoided them anyway

If they are that irrational with a beer name or a grocery store (where 80% of brands are the same as a typical north American grocery store on top of that) just cuz it's "Chinese"...

I don't trust that they won't be weird about an album title either :rip:

Tbh. They aren't the same word but one does remind me of the other

Maybe not everyone's mind on GGD makes the same connection but many ppl will

The first and last letter btw is the most important for brain connections in words. Anyone see that experiment where they change letters around and ppl could still read it?

Chromatica is not quite as simmilar as those changed words but for some the mental connection may still be made especially with a word being used so much everyday
