I love MARINA so much, she's probably my third favorite artist right after Lady Gaga and Madonna. It's sad she's underrated because her music both lyrically and sonically is great. 

I discovered her long time ago but fell in love since Handmade Heaven release, so Love + Fear (especially Love part) will always have special place in my heart. My favorite album is "Froot", I enjoy literally every song from this album: from Happy to Immortal. 

I can't say which song is my favorite because this list is kind of too long. I love MARINA. 

She deserves to be so much bigger, all her songs are so beautiful and come from such a deep personal place. Songs Like Obsessions, Rootless, Numb, handmade heaven, savages, ect ect, are all so beautiful bothy lyrically and sonically (Honestly which song isn't) and they deserve to be heard. I guess she's just never fit into the 'Pop' category.

Funny story kinda: 

I used to not know the difference between Marina and Melanie Martinez. My boyfriend asked for tix to K-12 Tour for his birthday and I was like sure. I never listen to them both very much but it seemed fun enough. 
 

I walked out kind of pissed that Melanie didn’t do How to Be A Heartbreaker or Primadonna in her encore and voiced my frustrations to my bf. He then explained the situation of why Melanie wouldn’t, probably ever in fact, be performing those songs.

Froot is a perfect album.

Froot is the album IMO is the album that shows how much Marina has grown, as a person and an artist. Show's her humanity, her weekness and strength. It's incredibly beautiful. Savages is probably my favourite. 


...It's not my favourite,  but I thought Love + Fear was pretty good

When I finally get the Cd, I'm gonna scratch the name off and replace it with the gay Tumblr one 

Do it! To give it credit, it's still a decent pop album, I just overplayed it way too much when I was young and so now can't listen to that album all the way through. 

Primadonna, Homewrecker, Lies, Teen Idle, Fear & Loathing, Radioactive and Buy The Stars are all great.

I think it all dawned from this boy I used to bang who would post Facebook pics of him dressed as Electra Heart all the time and he kinda looked like Melanie. Had the gap and stuff. It all blurred together.

I hate Electra Heart’s style but the album is full of bops so i went with it. Anyway, i like how grown Love+Fear feels and i can relate to those lyrics way more. I honestly don’t get the hype about Froot. I love Blue but that album is full of skips.
