Francesca Cipriani 1,668
he should close that restaurant tbh. It always looked a money black hole. Plus, its menu it's not very italian... more like "italo-american"
paurok89 151
Why so negative? Maybe it's not him who initiated this whole thing and he just shared it coz he's being supportive of whoever decided to do this. That restaurant is always packed and I'm sure people who are regulars there will enjoy an opportunity to show their love. Literally thousands of restaurants are doing this rn. No one is forcing you to donate.

This just makes you look bad! Hey guys! It's important to note that Joe probably can't ask Gaga for assistance with this issue, because Gaga herself faced this problem a few years ago. Therefore, it would stress her out if she had to pay people money she does not feel they deserve again (we know this is a sore spot for her), since the last time she was sued over it she lost and was forced to settle out of court (AKA pay up so the whole thing goes away). If I was Joe I wouldn't want to bother my sweet child with an issue like this either which just stirs up bad memories for her. Remember, Gaga refused to pay her assistant for overtime and that hag Jennifer actually had the nerve to take legal action against the Queen Gaga's words for those who don't remember: In a deposition, Gaga unleashed her anger on her ex-assistant. O'Neill was a "f---ing hood rat who is suing me for money that she didn’t earn," said Gaga, adding that O'Neill "deserves every dollar of her $75,000 that we agreed to. But she does not deserve a penny more.” Gaga insisted that none of her employees are paid overtime, adding: 'She (O'Neill) knew there was no overtime, and I never paid her overtime the first time I hired her, so why would she be paid overtime the second time? This whole case is b******t and you know it.' Rather than paying off O'Neill, Gaga revealed: 'I'm going to give all the money that she wants to my employees that work hard for me now that deserve it. I'm not going to give it to her so she can go to Intermix and buy herself a new tube top.' He could've easily used this opportunity to set a standard amongst all those rich UWS motherf*ckers. Anyway, this is absolute proof he's not in the mafia at least they protect their own. $50k to pay for TWO WEEKS. He says 30 employees, so if all employees are full time that comes to almost $21/hr on average. Does that sound right for NY?
pink sushi 4,351
This is disturbing tbh. He and his family have millions yet are asking normal people who are probably struggling during these times to donate money to him so he can afford to pay his laid off staff. YIKES. Between this and him donating money to Trump’s campaign..... And to those saying that maybe he just doesn’t want to ask his famous daughter for financial assistance with his own business, you are forgetting that he is rich himself. He is very involved with Gaga’s brand and I’m sure makes millions off of it each year. It’s not like he’s estranged from Gaga and off living some middle class life owning a restaurant in Kansas. 🙄
