Your sinophobic brains really failed you :billie:

Swine Flu literally exists for ages. Also 2009 outbreak started in USA. And citing the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2016 found that the 2009 H1N1 virus likely originated from pigs in a very small region of central Mexico.

But they call themselves a communist country. Which I think is funny, because they always praising themselves as a communist country on the internet.

Remember, the nazis called themselves socialist, and North Korea claim to be democratic. It doesn't mean it's true. I have no doubt, that China wants to eventually become a communist country, but they're not there yet.

who even cares. China is not even a democracy. why are you assuming a foreign country should hold the same set of values as yours is the real question.

or you could, you know, fly to China and try convince them that they’re “racist” and that’s wrong. I would love to see that tbh. lmao.

democracy, equality and freedom are not exactly known to be China’s virtues so this whole thread is a mess

”Why’d ya come around me with an ass like that?”

People not understanding sarcasm in this thread :laughga: I don’t know about China but Korea is super racist.. They hate black people, they hate overweight people, they hate people that they see as “ugly”.. This goes to the level where they won’t even let them enter the club because they are black, overweight or just “ugly”.

You should see how Koreans treat K pop stars it's just as bad. Literally if you have ANY qualities that go against what they claim is "attractive" you're nothing to them. I'll never forget watching that documentary about Koreans getting plastic surgery as a graduation present instead of like a car or something. :spin:

It is no secret that authoritarian and very conservative countries like China tend to be more racist and intolerant than the other ones. Most of the Chinese are decent people of course but their government is a tyrannical nightmare obsessed with controlling people and that is their biggest problem.

Idk about China but a friend of mine lives and teaches in Japan and I kinda witnessed myself how unwelcoming Japanese can be cuz he used to videocall me while he hung out outside... Also, in general it's kinda well know at this point that those places can be pretty racist to foreigners - a lot of people spoke out about this...

Idk how I feel about it honestly - I mean, racism of any kind is bad (duh), and I encourage anyone who spots that kind of behavior to call it out, and hopefully people can work on it collectively, and individually...

However, China, Japan, Korea - the cultures of those countries are so foreign to me, I don't understand them, and I'm apprehensive to even try and get to know them cuz in a lot of those societies homophobia is rampant and I try to stay away from that as much as possible, so... as a result I don't have very strong feelings about it - the best I can say is I hope they deal with it... In contrast racism in western countries towards people from China, Japan, etc I feel very strongly about, so... idk if that's a bad thing - probably, but that's my perspective on this issue

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

All the “US isn’t the only country in the world!” People are here to override a discussion about Chinese racism with talks of racism in the US

You’re the one that said the quarantine should be lifted and if people die, they should just die because you have bills to pay and the economy is more important.

So don’t pretend you care about racism when you barely care about the elderly and other Vulnerable people due to covid-19.

Does it really matter? I don’t go outside anyway so it’s not like my thread meant anything :v

Every country has it’s own racism problem, between them and to foreigners.. nobody is a saint.

And as someone who lives abroad, I can say that there’s a big difference between how the citizens welcomes you as a tourist and as a resident, when you are a resident it’s more likely to face racism or simply just hate..

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Theres racism and xenophobia in all forms in all different corners of the world and this is usually intertwined with class and economic struggle or political views and history.

I’m sorry but... you’re surprised? There’s such a disconnect between what Americans think China is like and what it’s actually like. They are so cut off from the world that it’s easy for them, as well as for America, to manipulate how their government is seen. I hear people defend China all the time. Ultimately it’s not the Chinese people, it’s the government. But that place is WEIRD and it certainly has effected the culture of the people.

Remember they had the one child policy, they have a social rating system that effects every aspect of a persons life, they’ve had leaders responsible for some of the biggest atrocities in human history. They constantly violate human rights and overall its a terrible place.

The **** are u talking about?

Lol so ignorant and self-centered.

Let me give you a ticket to visit Asia in person.
