She's one of those artists, like Azealia Banks, that are very talented but their crappy personality ruins everything

She's got a tick, that's for sure. Even before all the scandal in that talent show, she always seemed a deluded and fake to me in interviews, which was a disappointment for me at the time cause I loved her music, but oh well..

You got it. recently it was revealed that this was a staged thing to spark controversy, but Interscope immediately dropped her after this and her career as Natalia tanked.

In 2016 she made a new debut as herself (Teddy Sinclair) in a girl band called Cruel Youth. It's much better this way because I guess Interscope used to make her sing in an American accent which was rly fcked up - though I will always miss hearing Wonderland and Kill My Boyfriend on MuchMusic

the meltdown thing about the tuxedo was staged. Though it backfired incredibly.

I didn't know it happened that way.. It's so sad for Natalia Kills if that's just something that got out of hands, and really unfair considering how mean Simon Cowell and other judges can be...

She played the role of the bad judge on X-Factor and it destroyed her career (even though her husband was MUCH worse; unfortunately, she was the easy target as a woman of color).

She is incredibly talented -- she co-produces much of her work with her husband, and each of her albums sound so different with even better vocals each time.

Early in her career, she had epic videos with high-fashion looks, resulting in comparisons with Gaga. Her music is brutal about abuse, mental illness, society. You can argue that Gaga sings about the same things, but with more hope than Natalia. That said, they are still very different.

Check her out if you'd like. Trouble is the only album I relate to even more than BTW, because it feels like it was written about my family.

Natalia & Gaga were both signed to Cherrytree.

I think Natalia was being cut out to follow in Gaga's footsteps, a failed effort.

Teddy is a SUPREMELY talented songwriter who made some questionable choices. Before the X Factor fiasco she used to be my favourite along with Gaga.

Natallia is an incredibly talented musician. I’ve been a fan of hers for years and her first two albums are really great pop albums. The songs were really catchy and they had the same kind of dark pop vibe that gagas music also has. So I can understand the comparisons.

So I can understand the comparisons.

But I’ve seen loads of interviews of her and her attitude is so disgusting. I don’t know whether it was put on for the camera or whether it was just her personality but she borders on narcissistic personality disorder.

I do believe that The X Factor controversy was somewhat staged as she has said since that she was told to be the villain of the show and I just think it went a little bit too far so I don’t completely blame her for that.

The fact is there are loads of celebrities that can pull off the bitchy sarcastic personality i.e. Simon Cowell Madonna Mariah. And it works for them but it just seemed so disingenuous and borderline cringey when she does it in interviews.

Before The X Factor controversy though she just never really made it. none of her songs or albums charted even though they were just as good as the mainstream pop that was on the radio at the time I just think sometimes really talented artist just get lost and never quite make it which is a real shame.
