Instead of releasing JW properly or DIC as a single she went with this... And didn't even give it a music video or followed it up with a pop EP like many were thinking she would. Should've kept it in the vault for the shallow part of ASIB soundtrack. I mean, she did give us THAT lyrics video. Delaney

They went hard rock for a while, but they were thrash metal in the 80s and they’ve gone back to it on their last two albums.
MAXX 275
I loved The Cure when it came out and I still bop to it sometimes, but no. The song doesn't fit 2020 and it would definitely feel like she's capitalizing on the pandemic, you wouldn't re-release something if it wasn't to profit from it. Widows Kiss 7,818
The Cure is miles better than Stupid Love. It could have worked as lead with a different instrumental.

Yeah, I just had a feeling that because of how they have changed their music over the years (and the way this fanbase has changed over the years ) that some people might be like "Metallica isn't metal". I really want Meatllica and gaga to record at least and song together, I love them both so much. Delaney

RAMROD 109,810
I streamed and purchased it back then But now, after I learned how depressing and grim was the back story of the song, I'll never be the same again, and I don't listen to it anymore, since it will bummed me out. RochestrMonstr 3,223
It’s a good song, but not one of my favorites. It’ll always be a throwaway from ASIB that fit closer with current radio than any of Joanne so it was released (and served its purpose) to fill the gap in territories where MR didn’t produce a radio hit. So if it had been released now (Post ASIB) it actually might do quite well. SL isn’t really what’s popular on radio right now and is doing well, so something like TC might have automatically smashed. Hmm. I never thought of it as made for ASIB. Is there any backstory to that? 2 hours ago, RAMROD said: But now, after I learned how depressing and grim was the back story of the song, I'll never be the same again, and I don't listen to it anymore, since it will bummed me out. Um.. I’m guessing you don’t listen to 1/2 of Joanne then?
