But I think part of the acclaim comes precisely from that compromise. He was able to do something very easy to listen to, but still not too superficial and with good songs. I think finding that balance is actually very much worth the praise.

 

I really like the album. But I am a sucker for that late-night sadboy synths.

I really wanted to like the album and had high expectations from the singles, but it fell flat for me as the only standout tracks were the singles previously released. It seems like all my friends feel the same way too. 

I just felt like let down I guess :noparty:
