Alternative/Digital Promo Gaga can do before Chromatica amidst the virus

        Hi guys, I know we all are saddened by the delay of Chromatica, but instead of bitching about it I though of ways that Gaga and her team could keep releasing and entertain the fans while we wait for the new release date. As we all know, all live shows and talk show interviews are off the table, as is recording or filming any new material because they require leaving home and contact with big groups of people; so, I have come up with a list of possible digital-based ideas that do not require anyone from her team to leave the house. Some of these ideas are based on rational assumptions while others are 100% plausible if enough work is put into them. While we wait for chromatica, Gaga could: 

Participate in the line up for Elton John’s Home Concert Special for Fox to promote Stupid Love (all artist will perform from home)

Participate in the line up for James Corden´s Homiest special to promote Stupid Love (all artist will perform from home)

Arrange her own “backyard home” concert similar to the two events above. This could work better after the album is out as a “launch party” 

Release a directors cut for Stupid Love with new shots and unused scenes. This would only require the editor to change the sequence in a one man job.

Release a Vertical Video for Stupid Love on Spotify. Similar to the above, it just requires rescaling the video. 

Release a promo single. Based on rumors and the nature of her apple deal, Gaga was supposed to release another song close to Stupid Loves release date, but decided against it due to SL start up success. This means the second #ShotOnIphone video should’ve been shot already. If this is true, she can contemplate releasing a promo single. Additionally, release a behind the scenes of this video 

If there is no promo single shot already, release a new song with a lyric video. That would only require an editor and all feedback and notes can be handed virtually. 

Release the collab with Ariana Grande. Producers and Ariana already confirmed its existence and many have reported the video has been shot, meaning only the editor is needed to finalize it. Additionally, release a behind the scenes of this video 

Release the album cover (according to Gaga daily it has already been shot)

Release the album photoshoot or more photos of the red outfit photoshoot gradually like she did with the Ellie Russle shoot. 

Release the track list through an interactive game or set of clues and riddles through her social media. 

Do a track by track commentary about the album’s song meanings like she did with ARTPOP. Could be an audio only to minimize the need of a cameramen for health precaution reasons. Then send the audio to an editor. 

Host an instagram live and chat with the fans 

Open up a Q & A inbox for questions about Chromatica on instagram. Then record her answers and post the video to her social media (similar to the way you tubers do it) I dont know how technologically capable Gaga is, but this is also easily a one man job.

Release another Gagavision about the recording of Chromatica with previously recorded footage as a way to tease fans. This would only require an editor too. 

Release snippets of album tracks like she did with ARTPOP. 

Create a puzzle using social media and soundcloud for fans to build a new track of Chromatica, like she did with Princes High back in 2012. Upload the stems and instructions wont require more than herself.

Release the acoustic piano version of Stupid Love she mentioned in an interview. Bobby could coordinate with streaming services via email. 

Do phone or video interviews with radios like she has been doing already. 

 

These are more than 10 ideas i believe can be pulled off. If she did all of this, one per week starting now, she would be posting content up until july. I think its important that we all come to terms with the fact that the current circumstances have completely derailed the promo plan Gaga had. This virus will extend itself possibly until 2021, and there is absolutely no way any artist can just reasume their work in hopes that the lockdown gets better. We just have to look at the delay as a way for them to have time to re-adapt what they had plan to this trying times. A new alternative plan and schedule that can coexist with the virus. If you have any other ideas I would love to hear them. Maybe Bobby will lurk here and see them too. 

EDIT: We now Gaga is gonna stay in her house screwing Michael and finding ways to promote Haus Labs instead. I was just bored and wanted to see how much I learned on my marketing class

I don't think she's in the spirit/mood to be working right now. and thats okay!  Most of us are off work during this time, and at home relaxing, why shouldn't she be able to?  just my perspective!

of course, I would love as much gaga content as I could get- but she's no machine!

It's cute to think about but realistically speaking there will be absolutely nothing for the next coming weeks/months She delayed her whole era. She's not gonna start hyping us slowly with snippets, the cover, photoshoots, etc. when she still has no clue when the album is actually going to be released. Only when they are sure what this date is (and they'll only know that when the pandemic starts to slow down, which is not the case at all yet) can we expect something resembling album promo imo So let's not get our hopes up

yeah this is all wishful thinking, but its rational to think promo this time will be less conventional. I just pray that they are not on the plan of "waiting for the virus to slow down in order to resume plan A again". Otherwise they are in for a huge and terrible surprise. The album will come amist the virus yes or yes. They WILL have to figure out a way to entertain fans when ever they decide to cave in and set a date (unless she relase in 2021 which at this point i wouldnt be surprised)

I'd like to see her join one of those from-home concerts, but I think it'd be hard to do "Stupid Love" without her band or dancers, unless she has an acoustic version up her sleeve. I'm not sure if she'd debut a new song from the Chromatica this way unless she has one she can easily play on piano (or guitar), but maybe we could get an acoustic version of one of her previous songs. I'd be happy with that. 

It's unfortunate for her that she's on the verge of releasing a dance album during a time when she has to be physically distanced from her band and dancers. It would be so much easier to promote Joanne under these restrictions.

I think more Gagavisions would be awesome. She has a lot of footage of herself doing stuff (she's had her own camera men filming her at the Oscars). I always like little glimpses like that. 

I have no real need to see her perform at her house/bedroom. Chromatica is so high concept and, IDK, it would be sad to see these songs performed in t-shirts and leggings against a white wall like she's in prison or something. 

There's also so much she could do with the art her talented fans make of her. Like stuff from these artists (Helen Green, Lucas David, and jvmathi ) for example:

I think it could be cool if she comissioned all of them to make a gif dystopian Manga/cartoon or whatever about Chromatica. Like an anthology (and showcasing the artists different styles). It could be like Taarna (from the 80s movie Heavy Metal) and still  be very cool & have a retro vibe

THANK YOU!  That's what some people seem to forget. Besides, I'm sure with this announcement and the...unique reaction (death threats at worst), she is even more not in the spirit or mood to work. Like you said, that's okay!

I would love for her to record a video of her performing a song (could be Stupid Love and I'd be perfectly happy) that's similar to those one-person-acoustic performances that I've seen on tik tok I think and twitter. I picture it being like one video of her singing the vocals, one of her dancing (maybe multiple videos of Richy and other dancers doing choreo), one video of her at the piano maybe, one of Bloodpop dj-ing the instrumental, one of background vocals, and one more of her doing idk what - serving looks? lol

but I can picture all the videos on like a split-screen going at the same time, all adding up to what would be like a performance.
