You can tell how little they know about quality music when you see some of these questionable opinions thrown around. I still have four hours before the album drops for me but I know the acclaim is justified. Dua is the new girl in town and will easily give Miss Delay a run for her money, music wise.

I mean, they turned out to be like those Little Medonsters very fast when Lady Gaga was a rising star. The album is amazing from a production perception, let alone with her unique vocals added. I always stanned Dua and it was kinda painful when she got so much hate for her performance skills. Now she releases great pop music and people still find it needed to hate on her for no reason...

Wooo! Love her, hope Gaga can serve something as good as Don't Start Now or Physical!

The album is perfection. She delivered! Cant wait for her tour. I love that she’s letting the music speak for itself. No expiation. I wish Gaga did that sometimes.

The album is pure pop perfection.

first album since teenage dream to really give me pop perfection in this way

don’t get me wrong, my favourite albums are reputation, ARTPOP and unapologetic, but they aren’t what i’d define as ‘pop perfection’ in the same was as FN and TD

Amazing album

I don’t really think Chromatica can top it. Which leave us with two options:

1- Gaga waits until next year to release it so she doesn’t have to compete with FN and many other anticipated releases (Adele, riri, etc).

2- Gaga releases Chromatica and flops.

Even with just 10 reviews, 92 is extremely high for a mainstream pop artist to achieve on Metacritic.

I have not listened to the album yet but I will soon, not that I needed a high Metacritic score but I am totally more excited now!

Good production but the rest... Literally sounding like remixed PRISM rejects. Also, what is with her ungripping vocals? She doesn't pull me in whatsoever. It's just... there. Flat. If this is supposedly a "game changer", wow, the bar is low.

Don't Start Now is still the ultimate gem here. The rest of the album cannot match it for sure. Sadly.

I respectfully disagree. Dua's vocals in the front of every track literally MAKE the album and the production is GREAT and polished retro. I've had an edible so I enjoy capitalizing things :lolly:

****ing hell these reviews are immense.

I wasn't a Dua fan, but she really delivered with DSN and Physical. Defo sounds like the Pop album of the year!

Going to give it a listen.

In my messy era.
