Twice as good seems a fair enough thing to say. And, again, LMs were completely unimpressed by NRO's success and called it a commercial letdown so... I'm just connecting the dots So what you meant to say was twice as big streaming-wise. That's of course true. But I don't see how you can argue that a #5 debut is better than #15, and how falling on the third week is better than rising 5 spots (and still rising). In any case, all that I was trying to prove with my first post is that Stupid Love is not a bomb. A bomb is Perfect Illusion's chart run. chaeri pls

KURUSHITOVSKA 20,451
Dua's album literally sounds like Born This Way meets Dangerous Woman. Can they take a seat? ¿Qué currículum tiene ésta tarántula?

Spock 20,290
41 minutes ago, Didymus said: That was not the case though... which albums are you referring to? I agree with @Mr S tbh. There's a clear shift in how high pop albums are getting rated, and it's not really lining up well with how albums of other genres are evaluated. And it's also not a fair system. Katy's albums, for example, have been notoriously slammed every single time even though, imo, they're not that much worse than, say, Selena's records, which are getting a scary amount of acclaim these years. off the top of my head Teenage Dream, Born To Die and even Blackout got lukewarm leaning towards negative reviews when they got released, when they're now considered solid and influential records. I mean it's no secret pop music has gotten respect over the last decade, but yes that also unfortunately means the generic stuff also gets a boost, though I don't really know about other genres I'm not saying all pop albums should get positive reviews just because its pop music, but saying Future Nostalgia is going to automatically get an 80 metacritic score just because it's pop is really unfair imo And also slightly off topic, I don't see why gays would have a problem with this, as something like Dua's effort that both smashes and gets acclaim will legitimize and help bring "pure" pop back into the mainstream in an era filled with mumble rappers and ASMR pop who will love me when the night is over
StarstruckIllusion 52,904
The professional scalping At least she can’t be all sappy and emotional now that her word has been betrayed. Like just perform and put out the music ma EDIT: Agree w the delay comment, not the sound chasing part... n e way at that!

Miss Dia had nothing to do with this review and y’all need to stop dragging her. Also did they lie? Gaga mentions disco music all the time but never seems to truly deliver it since 2011... Take several seats. Dua served and those are fact. We can only dream that Gaga will do era like this again in her career. She released 4 singles and the album is not even out. 3 official singles and 1 promo single. She released like 2-3 versions of videos for each single and even lyric video for promo single. She performed DSN 20 times alone. She is actually trying to do something for her album. I will actually drag everyone who dares to say something negative about her when she doesn’t deserve your pettiness. Your mind. My mind would be in a storm if I get touched by injustice or belittling of someone. Bravo for this. Dua did deliver since Don't start now got launched. Noam Zioni 1,201
really unnecessary. Dua's new sound is great and funky, but that wasn't what gaga was going for at all.. the only song lately that tries to be disco-funk is I Want Your Love and it succeeds 100%. Also not him mentioning dua early release without the fact that it happened because it leaked.
