Lighter 15,376
releasing during quarantine is the smartest business move cause everyone is on their phones all day and won’t have anything better to do than listen to your goddamn album You’ll get all the streams you want. Pure sales? iTunes is still right fcking THERE. What are you worried about CDs and Vinyls? Which will likely just sell 85k anyway? Compared to 300k units from digital and streams. I don’t get it. Interscope isn’t getting it together. #ChromaticaIsOverParty

Azor Ahai 18,861
Never has anyone been so out of touch with reality for the past 20 minutes at least. Streams are DOWN Stores are CLOSING Sales are DOWN People that arent doctors/nurses or work in grocery stores are becoming unemployed WORLDWIDE And you want Gaga to beg people to give her, a multimillionaire, money during this time? ThisGuyTony 30,720
Gaga still sells more physical albums compared to others. Plus she had plans for the album rollout that she no longer can do. If she can do them later on it will be better in the long run.

I was already planning on buying multiple albums for friends and family. Like, we stans buy physical stuff. Probably because alot of us are in our late 20s and early 30s. We grew up still appreciating physical media.

Loyalty 3,904
It wouldn’t have been that easy to just drop the album because everyone’s at home. The virus is literally happening so there’s no promo, SL has been performing terribly and there really is no hype around the album. Interscope are definitely right to wait. SL will be a solid radio hit by the summer and we could have 2 singles release leading up to its release.

I bet she planned so many things for us and because of this motherf****** virus she had to postpone everything. I really hope it will be over till summer and she’ll release the album in July-August.
