But from a moral perspective the thing that rubs me the wrong way is... people are dying every single day Why are people acting all brand new to the world's tragedies? It's always a bad time to release your friggin' pop album like it matters in the grand scope of things. People were/are dying of the regular flu too and it wouldn't have made any difference to Gaga or her label. Was it right to let the music industry continue during the SARS crisis? Ebola? Children still dying of hunger in Yemen to this day? Yes, COVID-19 deserves to be taken seriously but maybe not this seriously. I'm over it. (Not trying to drag Gaga or Interscope here, just trying to think critically about this whole "the world is in so much pain!!!!" mania.) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I still don't get why people are pretending that having to stay indoors and watch tv for a few weeks is worse than literally dying of hunger without anyone outside of your country caring. Yes children are dying in Yemen and Palestinians are being murdered everyday and it's absolutely unacceptable and horrible, but this is a world wide emergency of a totally different scale that's affecting EVERYONE.
