Gaga needs to release a single SOON

after the postponement, it's pretty clear that a lot of people have been demoralised or affected by the postponement. in my opinion, both to support her fans in a tricky time AND to keep the hype for the album sustained, she needs to release a single really soon. like possibly this friday or next friday.

i know she won't, then we'll all wonder why she sells 21 copies first week. but she really needs to release a single in the coming weeks and then one more before the album release (if the album's releasing in august/september, if it's in june/july then probably just one before the album). i don't know, i'm feeling a lot of conflicting feelings, but i don't think she can sustain the hype and support until summer/autumn with just stupid love and a single in june/july.

WORD. sl is clearly a dud, we’re ready for a new single to keep us occupied lol

fact of the matter is, she released the lead too close to the album. these days, a 3-5 month gap between lead and album is the best choice to capitalise off the wait and release 2 or 3 singles + a promo single beforehand, one with the preorder, and then only one or two post-album. post-album singles dont tend to do too well anymore

so in that scenario, what's stupid love? remember sl was gaga's comeback single and a single received really positively by the media, and the press coverage of the ari and bp rumours show that the gp CARES. but 6 months with no activity? you really think she's gonna raise hype AGAIN to the level that she did with stupid love? it just isn't feasible

exactly, the fact is that with coronavirus, the fans have LESS to focus on than normal, and a few singles would be perfect before the album. just one single before the album was fine when she had a month's gap, but she has a much longer gap between the single and album now, so now she needs to release more

I think you're right, she needs to release either ROM or another track in the next fortnight.

I'm just worried about if she's shot enough videos to release anything other than ROM. In a worst case scenario, she could provide an animation video for another song (similar to Britney's Break The Ice video). Not sure how that would fit with all the different colours / tribes / themes, but whatever. She needs to maintain hype because SL is just being left to flounder. 

On the bright side at least we'll have 3 tracks before the album is released! Hopefully all singles too!
