JoeMo 3,881
She will want to do the album justice with a proper release. Imagine trying to do promo, interviews, appearances, music videos with all this s**t going on? It would be a nightmare, and dangerous. We should all respect her decision to postpone the album. www.youtube.com/jmremixes

People were dying, losing their jobs, and living in fear when Gaga was MAKING Chromatica, released Stupid Love, etc. Did you have this energy then? Probably not You are making assumptions about me and you don't know me. I've always been affected by people's suffering. It s very much a valid narrative now, when we are talking about specific events, aka corona virus and Gaga delaying her album due to corona virus and the effects it has on people's lives. I am not diminishing any of thousands of other reasons why people constantly suffer in the world, but this is a narrow topic, where people are having meltdowns for a particular reason and in scope of that I react. I am a huge fan of Gaga, she had such an impact on my life and I am DYING to hear new music, but in light of current events that should not be anyone's priority or placing that thought in front of the very reason for why the album was delayed. People need to step back, refocus, truly practice being kind and understanding and they might as well start by showing that on these forums and towards Gaga if not IRL with people around them. While I do understand where the reactions come from, I cannot support the behaviour that is damaging to those very people who act like that, to the community, to Gaga and yes I say people really should snap out of it and be more reasonable. xoxo
Igor Hachul 365
I totally agree with Gaga’s decision. this era deserves all the promo it was planned. I know music industry changed a lot, but Gaga is not just a singer, she’s a PERFORMER and her art singing live is everything take your time mother monster and takes us to Chromatica when the world pays attention to it (come on, internet and all tv station through the world are focused on coronavirus) Igor Hachul
ImSoStarstruckk 357
This album could have saved people’s lives, and yes, the amount of mentally ill people who NEEDED this album to survive this terrifying situation isn’t as big as the number of people affected by the coronavirus, but it’s still so many people who could have felt like they have something to love for. Terrible decision that stems from sales and not from actually helping people. Chromatica would not have slowed down the process of finding a cure. Peroxide555 587
The meltdowns here... seriously guys? I get that you're all hungry for music but Jesus f*cking christ - people are dying, the economy is in tatters and life for pretty much a quarter of the planet has outright stopped. Gaga is signed to a major label, and this album is ultimately an investment worth millions and millions of dollars. Yes this is art, but it's also a product - a product (usually) requires promotion... Gaga doesn't have the luxury of being a male, urban/mumble rap hip-hop artist in the streaming era, she comes from the digital age where Dr. Luke bops were topping the charts, this project was never going to get off the ground running without a traditional album rollout. This is the sensible thing to do to keep her label happy, and to make good on their investment. Yes you could call it greedy... it's not like their pockets weren't plenty full already, but Gaga has been in this game for a long time, and the rules remain the same for every major recording artist out there... maximise profit. And I will say, whatsmore... it's not just about the cashflow - there seems to something slightly tone-deaf about releasing an a campy dance-pop album in the middle of a global health crisis the likes of which we've not seen for a century. Stream Future Nostalgia in the meanwhile, it's probably better than what Chromatica will end being anyways. EDIT: The fact people are talking about harming themselves over this is incredibly worrying and scary. It's a pop album guys. Come on... get your priorities in order. I know it seems crazy but new music from Gaga means absolutely everything to some people... While I am on the opposing side of this issue here than you are, I do care for your mental health and state. Please try to avert your focus/thoughts from Gaga for the time being. I am sure you find strength in her as many do (I did myself in the past and even now at times), but focusing on one thing and making it the center of your existence is just not good for you. Gaga should be there to support you and follow you on your OWN path that you are creating in this life, she should not be THE path, if you understand what I mean. The world is so big and things are fluid and they change constantly and you never know what the next day brings. This is what makes it scary for many people but also what makes life amazing for many... it's all about perception. Don't think about the album being postponed now at this moment, but think of it being on it's way and let it happen whenever that might be. In the meantime focus on bettering yourself, doing things for yourself, loving yourself... I do not think that even Gaga would want people to be in the state where her music means absolutely everything to them. I understand what you are saying (if there wasn't for her music, who knows if I'd be alive today) but there are SO many things to live for. Anyways, don't want to preach around here... just you should know that you are supported and be kind to yourself and stay strong! All the best! xoxo

Agreed here. People are overreacting for no reason. It’s a pop album; not a cure for this stupid COVID-19 or some other terminal disease like cancer. These folks need to find other mediums to maintain happiness in the meantime. The nasty comments I’ve seen truly reflect how disgusting people truly get when they don’t have their way. I was so looking forward to her concert in Barcelona end of April, since her singles were sooo good. Then I heard the album and ... for me personally it was underwhelming Besides Boys Will Be Boys and Break My Heart (and ofc DSN and Physical) I do not like any of the songs for me the whole album just doesn't do anything and I've listened to it on repeat many times now (to make sure that I am not just discarding songs for no reason)... and I am really not saying this in a mean way or anything, it's just how I feel about it. Physical however will for sure be my favorite song of 2020... Gaga really needs to do smth amazing to top that song for me. xoxo
