Now you backfired on me for what you asked for ? I indeed don’t force you to follow it or not, I just plainly giving my opinion. And don’t jump on the promo related reasons if you don’t want to get dragged again on the profit/sales instead of actual art for the healing per say. “"I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this" - Lady Gaga

Francesca Cipriani 1,668
Stanning Gaga has never been so boring... she won't do anything, she won't say anything until she has something new to sell to us.
mamo 19,092
Looking back at this thread, I think it’s pretty obvious why Gaga has distanced herself - this fanbase is pretty toxic. While not everyone is, a large majority are and I think for the well-being of herself, it probably was the best decision. The fans who are angry about chromatica being cancelled have no sort of idea about what’s going on behind the scenes. The amount of people who worked on this album and are waiting for their paycheck etc. Also let’s hypothetically say if Gaga did drop the album now and the fans love it but commercially it didn’t do well...she’ll get called out for being a “fad” etc. I think Gaga, her team and her label knows the importance of this era especially following the success of 'A Star Is Born'. This era is what fans have been waiting 7 years for and I don’t think Gaga is just going to just drop it half-heartedly without all aspects of her creative vision coming together. As for now Plan A is cancelled which will give her team enough time to come up with new ideas in ways to promote/execute this era. As for the negative fans who always have something to complain about, they’ll never be truly happy. I think Gaga has accepted that and I think they should too. It’s time to move on... Isn't she entitled to live a normal life like all of us? She deserves a life away from the industry, a private life. Anyhow.. she just put out a lead single/video for LG6. Prior to that she was working on new material and planning her future album cycle. Prior to that she did ASIB which was brilliant and won her an Oscar, a Grammy, a Critics Choice Award & put her at the top of the charts again. The woman has worked herself to the bone the last 2 years (whilst also dealing with illnesses that exhaust her body, mind and soul). Not to mention the shows in Vegas. Give her a break. She's doing fine / doesn't owe any of us a single thing.

Nothing Gaga has done since ARTPOP has appeased a majority of the fans. And if you're looking at a timeline, that's more than half of her career. They've **** on C2C, Joanne, her becoming an actress, Enigma/Vegas, her relationships, her mental health advocacy, her "cringy" attitude, even the SL song and video. It never ends and there's always something new to drag. I'm just not sure what joy she brings these people anymore. If all you care about it bops, I imagine you'd be pretty unhappy with Gaga for the past 7 years. And unfortunately, the jokes on you for sticking around and complaining; wasting your time and not living your life, waiting for a pop star to make you happy and fill a void in your life. I've had some of my best Gaga memories through her jazz era, in Las Vegas, and in the anticipation periods between projects. It's been a wild ride, and tbh if you're a true fan of all that she does, you wouldn't tear everything apart. It's easier to enjoy the art than rip it to shreds.
