nateygaga1997 90 Posted March 25, 2020 Share Posted March 25, 2020 I think that we should understand that Gaga isn’t only thinking about an impact on sales here. this is her art - and she wanted the world to experience it in a specific way - just like the rest of her albums. That vision could not have been executed in the midst of the pandemic. we need to respect that and look forward to a fully fleshed out piece of art in the future! It just shows that she only cares about moooneeeyy None of us here know what goes on behind closed doors, what's in her contracts, what they had planned, who or why they decided to postpone it, whether she wanted it or not, or the general logistics of organising an album release campaign over the span of months and months only to have to change at the drop of a hat... It's her album, not ours. She owes us literally nothing. It's totally senseless to blame her for wanting to give her work that's she's spent the last 2-3 years on a proper release. It's art and it comes as a package, it's not just about the individual tracks. It even includes the outfits she wears leaving her hotel. She gives meaning to everything. It's not a simple case of "I want an extra million, **** the fans" You might be happy with an Instagram live stream and a Spotify release but ... I have higher standards than that and so does Gaga. She will want to give more and I want to have it. No way do I want LG6 to turn into this lame ass release with no real experience after we've waited SO long, when there IS an option to give it what it deserves just by waiting that bit longer. Even if this came solely from the perspective of money, Gaga isn’t the only one getting paid here. Releasing the album later when sales will likely be higher is not just a benefit to her, but to hundreds of people in her team that need a paycheck. I just don’t see it happening. I know it’s a horrible thought but its possible that in a few months we’ll be in an even bleaker place than we are now. I know it seems counterproductive but I hope the album leaks because there won’t be a ‘good time’ in the coming months, we have no idea really when normal life will resume. Not the bore worms! I want to feel Chromatica in peace and happiness, not in pain and fear! Dua and Weeknd both done with promo etc, Gaga was at the beginning of era... It's different situation!! I will pretend that she gave us SL as a "gift" - like The Cure - with a video (because of leak) and the real first single will come before the album as a storm!!! Don't be upset guys, no hate here! Let's try to "chromatic" our lifes with love, generosity, understanding and calmness! She will not disappoint us, I'm sure!!! I will fly on a challenger across the sky like a phoenix..
