Gaga: Chromatica Delayed

I do wonder if she would’ve delayed if a Democrat was in the White House?  She didn’t stop releasing music when we had the swine flu pandemic when Obama was in office.

Clearly this is a business decision from Interscope. There is nothing she can do.

This. I do feel right now the music could greatly help during this troubling time. She's not exactly an indie artist and allot of people are involved on the project and it's success. I just wish we could get some insight on what the next few weeks will look like and her plans for future album promo leading up to the new release date...

Other then that paper magazine where has she been the last two weeks. has she known about it being postponed since then and has since then been working on moving things and whatnot?

LOL. Bye. I’ll just go listen to The Weeknd’s legendary album for the next few months and receive my life. I have very little interest in anything Chromatica oriented at this point, since we’ve received nothing since Stupid Love.

Exactly, that confuses me, also the fact that the world literally did nothing to prevent that pandemic :saladga:

Do you put the health and safety of others every single day first before your daily routine? I doubt it

You're not morally superior stop it

I certainly don't put a pop music album ahead of confronting a global pandemic. The entire state of CA is on lock down, which includes the entertainment industry which has been DECIMATED by all of this. It's way more complicated than gaga should release an album because these are scary times and we deserve new music. The music is coming. She is literally still planning on touring this Summer, which means the album is at most (3-4 months away). You can wait while we respond to people's very legitimate concerns about... and again I cannot stress this enough A GLOBAL PANDEMIC THAT IS KILLING THOUSANDS DAILY AND SPREADING LIKE WILDFIRE.

Laughing because of how inaccurate your assumptions are. Now carry on sissy as we wait for December for the album release.

Swine flu isn't nearly as contagious or widespread as covid19 :spin:

To all those who think Swine Flu pandemic and COVID-19 are similar meaning gaga should still release music, please read this article: https://www.livescience.com/covid-19-pandemic-vs-swine-flu.html

“In the U.S., between April 2009 and April 2010, the CDC estimates there were 60.8 million cases of swine flu, with over 274,000 hospitalizations and nearly 12,500 deaths — that's a mortality rate of about 0.02%.

The mortality rate for the novel coronavirus is much higher so far, around 2% (although the number will likely change as more people are tested). That may not sound like a big difference, ‘but when extrapolated, can mean millions more deaths,’

The symptoms of the swine flu were similar to those caused by other flu viruses, primarily: fever, cough, headache, body aches, sore throat, chills, fatigue and runny nose. Those symptoms show up between one and four days after contracting the virus.

But some people with COVID-19 have mild symptoms, or they may not experience symptoms at all, according to the CDC. The virus appears to have an incubation period of between four and 14 days, which means an individual could be carrying (and spreading) the virus for up to two weeks before experiencing any illness.”

Holy hell some people here are dumb as ****, or under 14 years old.

Get over it, it's gonna be released anyway. I prefer to wait than have an album die on the day of release. I don't want to have an era that only lasts the release day lmao

Ancient Alien

Actually, I'm not angry about the album got delayed or whatsoever. What I'm pissed about is that she has the audacity to use "Kindness" to promote her album then it turned out to be pretty much because of the money/numbers/marketing schemes.

Yup, I agree with all of this and I treat COVID-19 seriously but my point is that 2009 pandemic could've been prevented better and 12,500 people (only in US, globally it was between 100,000-500,000) is still a lot and those were mainly young people. Media just didn't talk about it that much.
