It's not about "bling not the music", as she has stated many other times that she doesn't care about charts anymore. Btw, if she wanted bling and not the music, she would release the album as planned, as her only competition right now is a fully-leaked album by Dua Lipa. Chromatica seems to be a fun and colorful album, so releasing a proyect like that while a global pandemic just doesn't seem right. She literally said that. First because of the reasons she explained and also I don’t think it’s a “bling not the music” thing from her. Just imagine when u have all ideas to put out with the album but can’t go out to record a MV or whatever, for example. So, I genuinely get her point and that’s okay. I know it's entertainment and "music not the bling" and all that stuff, but a project like this is a big investment and if it can't be released properly then it makes sense to postpone it. Are you so desperate for digital tracks that you would forego all the other exciting things that come with an album release? Actually don't answer that lol. Chromatica is a luxury, not a necessity. This is ridiculous. To think that the tour dates came DURING the pandemic and they didn't see it coming is what is actually infuriating. It's not the delay. She can sit on the album for another year, but don't kick things off with a month old leaked lead single, announce a tour mid-pandemic, go quiet for about a month and then delay the release. We've waited so long for new music, i don't want the experience to get ruined by everything that's going on right now. I can wait a little longer.
