This whole idea of traditional promo is lame and doesn’t really do much until it was something big and eventful like the Super Bowl. I couldn’t care less about seeing her perform stupid love at Jimmy Fallon or Ellen. A surprise drop accompanied by a short film would’ve be epic. During TFM and BTW, I was analyzing every clue and always hyped for more, but seeing how she had so much bad luck and how we got so many unkept promises, I toned down my expectations to zero so that whatever happens would feel at least slightly enjoyable.
