Chromatica NEEDS to be delayed

Stupid Love has flopped and there is no hype around Chromatica as an album. It will perform abysmally in its current state. The smart thing to do is wait for the virus to die down and then release the 2nd second single which will hopefully be a big enough hit to carry the album.

I'm sorry, but that's extremely ignorant. We don't know how long this will last. Many scientists are expecting this to go on for many, many months. It's growing at an exponential rate. The longer she delays this album, the more likely she won't  have an opportunity to release it. If things accelerate the way they are now, y'all are gonna regret her not releasing the album sooner.

As for SL, it isn't a flop. It's her highest debut single since TEOG. How is that a "flop"? Sure, it's not doing amazingly well right now, but to call it flop is just purely incorrect to say.

As for Chromatica, there will certainly be more hype once she actually starts doing more promo for it. I suspect they probably have a lot of online stuff they're planning (at least, that's what I hope). And look, let's be real. Promo nowadays doesn't do a whole lot. It's mainly for the fans. Who in the GP that is a casual fan, or even someone who's indifferent to Gaga, will actually go out of their way to look up an interview, or watch a performance (if she ever does one), or see a photoshoot, and go, "Wow, that's cool! Okay let me listen to the entire album now!"?

Honestly I'm torn

I want the album now, but I also want a full era of TV performances, interviews etc... Considering how long we've waited anyway, I feel like delaying it by a couple of months wouldn't hurt if meant we'd get a lot of TV and radio (as it stands, she is only able to do a couple of phone ins and an Instagram live...) 

I don't care about numbers, I just want the full experience.

But it's her/her label's decision, I'll support it either way and I think it will come out as scheduled anyway!

Sit down Echo! The virus will calm down in 3 months. She can release a second single before then and then release the album a month after the second single.

Unless her team is going to have a ton of bundles, physical sales will be down due to no one going to stores. And streaming is unknown. I hope they have some good marketing ideas up their sleeves.
