I have. And in hindsight, I was the annoying type of fan I always said I wouldn't be  I remember telling this story on here years ago too.

My mom and I were in New York for a weekend. We went to Joanne Trattoria. We actually had reservations for an hour later than when we arrived, but we got our sightseeing done for the day. Thought we'd see if they could sit us early. So we go to the host stand passed the bar, and the host goes "Um, let me go see if we have a table ready" while kinda looking behind us. My mom, ah I feel so bad for her, asked where the bathroom was and followed the host. So I'm alone at the host stand, and I hear a familiar voice behind me at a table. No. F*cking. Way.

There she was, at a high top table, with, like, a gin and tonic or something. I did not steel myself at all. My jaw dropped, she noticed me and goes "...what?" She was wearing just a band shirt and had the Italian curls from the Cheek to Cheek era. I just said "Are...are you Lady Gaga?" because I was sure it was just an impersonator or something. She nods her head, I put my hands over my mouth, she puts her finger to her mouth in a "shush" gesture, then waved me to her. So I quickly walk over and she pulls me into a hug. I tell her that I love her and how inspiring she was (...and that I had seen her live so many times. God, I was just panicking to think of something to say!). She tells me that I'm sweet and she loves me too. Then I think I started hyperventilating. Then her dad, who was also at the table and I hadn't noticed until she introduced me to him, had to tell me to take a deep breath and not cause a scene. 

She told me that nothing on the menu wasn't worth trying because it was all good. I thanked her for taking time to let me talk to her, then I walked away. I tried to get my mom to walk back to me so she could see Gaga was there, but the host stopped her and said we had our table ready. So I followed, we get seated, my mom sees how flushed I am and asked why, and I told her that Gaga was in the bar, and I talked with her. My mom was a little sad she missed it, but after the meal, Joe was outside and my mom complimented the restaurant, saying the food was wonderful. 

She took a selfie that night and posted it on Instagram actually, but I can't find it at the moment. There's a lot I wish I had done differently. Like, I didn't let her know that my love was unconditional. This was shortly after the Roseland Ballroom where she talked about how she thought about quitting music, and I wanted to let her know that even if she did and decided to pursue anything else, even a private life, that she had fans, like me, who would continue to support her no matter what she decided to do. That she didn't need to feel as though she were responsible for us or that she was obligated to make music for us. But, alas, it didn't come to me at the time. As I said, I was panicking, I was caught so off guard. 

But don't get me wrong, I loved that experience. I lived off that high for about six months. I'm sure she doesn't remember, or if she does, it wasn't a terribly good image of me

Yes I saw her leaving the forum in a black SUV during TMB. She stopped to talk to us but she was in a rush. It was so worth it though.

I had an Enigma M&G. It was super quick and rushed that night. I talked to her briefly, as we have a common acquaintance (my friend, an acquaintance for her from her Stefani days), so we talked about that, and then we were rushed through the photo part, and then Peter pulled me away as we were still talking. The whole encounter probably lasted 7 seconds. I was very calm and treated her like Stefani, not Gaga, and I was joking around with her. At some point I hugged her, presumably when I first went up to her. Later I learned she was in a lot of pain that night and that the M&Gs were exceptionally rushed.

Nope.

The closest I’ve ever come to seeing her in person, obviously excluding shows, was outside her old apartment in NYC in like 2014? During the ARTPOP era. I was there for the Roseland Residency shows, and me and some other fans greeted her & got some selfies when she came back from celebrating Bo’s birthday. Didn’t get a selfie though.

At the Radio City Music Hall stage door.

Everyone was waiting for her to walk the red carpet for Tony's 90th celebration concert, but she didn't. She came at around 4 hours prior through the stage door. Her security was arguing with Stevie Wonder's security regarding car parking. Steve's car was parked right in front of the entrance, and they didn't want to move for Gaga's Rolls. Finally, Gaga's team prevailed, and the Rolls pulled up. 

I was the only one there waiting with my Fame vinyl. She walked over to me, asked my name, we had some small talk, she called me a "great monster" in response to me calling myself a "medium monster".

And then the stage door suddenly opened, and Stevie Wonder and his entourage started filing out of the building. Gaga and Stevie have embraced  each other for several minutes on the stage door steps.

And then she went in, and Stevie's car pulled up and he was gone as well.

This was the closest encounter among many.

I met her during Perfect Illusion promo era.

My friend who worked at the radio station told me she’d be there, so I went that morning and waited outside for an hour or so.

She then came out and ran towards the gate yelling “set me fans free” as she recorded us walking towards her on her Snapchat. Remember when she used that for like a year and then never again 

she took a few photos with us all (there were only like 10 of us) and then asked us to put our phones away.

A lot of Joanne era had her being very “enjoy the moment and talk to me like a real person” attitude. So then she spilled us some tea of the then upcoming Joanne album and super bowl show. 

Then she took a group snap of us all behind her screaming for her Snapchat (im 6 foot 1 and she had heels on and the Joanne hat, and she still barely reached my chin LOL).

It was really a cool moment.

What night was the show? Was it after she fell off the stage?
