But leaks can also be harmful.Β The ARTPOP era got off to a terrible start because of leaks.Β When the album leaked Gaga quickly rescheduled the release to an earlier date.Β But the promo was all set for the original date.Β It was a total mess.Β On the new release date I went to Walmart.Β The employees in the music section never heard of the album.Β Then I went to a big music/movie store.Β There were no banners or plaques for ARTPOP like there were for the other new releases.Β On radio that day I heard DJs saying "I hear Gaga is releasing new music".Β Β That was the only mention.Β But the music should have been all over radio that day.Β It was pathetic.Β Gaga, who doesn't usually complain about things, mentioned how upsetting the leaks were to her.Β Then she got blamed for stepping on Katy's toes when she moved the ARTPOP release date up.Β Β ARTPOP would have gotten off to a much better start if is wasn't for the leaks.Β /end rant I live outside the space time continuum.
