Didn't Gaga say something about not wanting to release the Cher collab because they didn't record it together? 

I feel the same way about duets. If they don't perform and record it together it doesn't sound as good.

I prefer the solo version actually, it's just they didn't bother to hide the fact that Madonna recorded it in a different studio alone, no chemistry, just Madonna over Britney's already recorded material, like Sean Paul's features remixes

My other problem would be that the song is often made only as an image, like “look at this, it’s these two singers together” without actually working on making it a good song. Many diets are just two artists wanting to be introduced to each other’s fan bases, which is ok, but they often feel weaker than the discography of both artists.

My problem is unless it’s a break like Beyoncé’s Gaga’s voice doesn’t go with anyone else’s, Florence Welch was a stretch but happened to kind of work, but it seemed like Gaga was trying to sing a lot higher
