Guest
The DNC went against CDC Guidelines On COVID-19 by forcing states to continue the primary and ask people to vote! "A new memo from the Democratic National Committee panel that handles delegate selection for the presidential nomination warns that states that hastily change the “first determining step” of their own process could be subject to penalties – including a 50% reduction in delegates – if they hold primaries after a June cut-off date. Source: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/mar/17/dnc-memo-primary-delays-could-result-delegate-reduction Here is Biden telling people to vote if they are not at risk of being exposed to COVID-19, but everyone is at risk of being exposed! 27monster27 15,859
Once again Bernie is in the right by not forcing people to vote. He suggests it, but he understands if people cannot. How is he not winning? EDIT: I may have interpreted something incorrectly. he/him/his

JusKeepBreathin 19,311
Go ahead post the CDC guidelines. Nevermind I'll post them. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/large-events/index.html You might want to change the lie in your OP. No one has gone against CDC guidelines. Luc 4,776
If you think this is the DNC trying to rig the primaries against Bernie's favour, then you're assuming there's a chance in hell that Bernie can still win, which is wrong. If anything, Bernie's egocentrism is trying to 'rig' the general elections in Trump's favour. I've only seen Bernie bros oppose Biden more and more since the last debate. Those small concessions Bernie is apparently trying to get mean very little as long as Trump is president. This is the reason so many people preferred Warren (half of the people here call her a snake, proving my point) over Bernie, by the way. The only reason Bernie won the first states - besides Nevada - is because the moderate field was divided. That's not democracy, that's luck. As soon as moderates started dropping out, Biden attracted almost all of their votes - including those of Warren. The US is never going to get a genuinely left-wing president, none of the First World has ever had one and I don't see why today's environment would be more conducive for one. In each country's respective context, only centre-left presidents have ever taken won elections. There's one counter-example I can think of, Greece, and they failed at 90%+ of what they promised. Gradual, progressive change that slowly shifts the Overton window (discourse) to the left does the job. That's different from Blairite third-wayism by the way. It would be amazing if Bernie could've gotten a majority of Democrats behind him, but his proposals are simply too radical for most. A male version of Warren could've probably won, but not anything more leftist than that. Had to get that off my chest I guess but let's stop prolonging this whole primary. There's a clear winner, so be it. Unite the party, unite the country, and get rid of Trump.

The CDC link you gave says this: "Cancel large meetings or events." "During the next 15 days, all U.S. events of 10+ people should be cancelled or held virtually." "For organizations that serve people who are at higher risk of serious COVID-19 illness, cancel events for groups of 10 people or more." That change was posted 3/16. Also it doesn't matter because I posted the event gathering part. I meant to post the election part. Which doesn't say any of that. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/election-polling-locations.html So again it's a lie no CDC guidelines for elections were broken.
