I just feel like they would have pulled down the CD preorder if they don’t anticipate being able to deliver on the album on, or at least around, the release date. There's also a banner saying some items may take longer to deliver than usual. I've still not pre-ordered it so I don't know if this is the way its been looking for a while or its very recent. Dad's a Prime customer so he gets free P&P so we naturally order everything through Amazon. I know that service definitely counts towards an album's sales data, which I want to ensure happens. It said "up until April 5th" and Chromatica comes out the week after but there's still no guarantee. I doubt the stores will be selling deluxe physical editions and I don't really want to buy 2 copies at 2 different times. I don't buy digital music either. I feared this would happen. Naturally, not everything will be smooth sailing for an artist every time, so couldn't expect every era to go according to plan. I just hope she can produce further hits so people will continue to buy the album when we're over the worst of it. I'm still confident she could get a #1, but only just. I hope and pray there's still enough interest in the album after week 1 to keep it going. It's going to be so annoying if we'll always have to validate for years to come why Chromatica didn't sell well and people saying that the virus was no excuse because people can digitally download.
